Description
Duke Kahanamoku didn’t invent the ancient art of surfing, but he helped to popularize it within the continental United States. This three time Olympic gold Metalist popularized the sport that became quintessentially Californian during the 1920’s and 1930’s.
Blackwing’s Volume 840 is a tribute to Duke Kahanamoku. It features a sea green barrel, balanced graphite, and a gold eraser clip. The barrel is accented with gold foil in the shape of the California coastline, which is 840 mile in length. Replacement erasers are available in a variety of colors. Each sturdy and beautifully designed box includes one dozen pencils.
