Blackwing Volume 6 Pencil Set

In honor of small businesses everywhere, Blackwing presents the Volume 6 pencil. Starting in 1912, with the installation of the world’s first neon sign above a small barbershop in Paris, neon has become a symbol of the entrepreneurship and resiliency of small business owners. The vibrant, tubular lights came to adorn the storefronts of small businesses around the world.

This pencil pays tribute to preservation of small business with the Volume 6. Each set comes with six orange and six blue neon pencils, inspired by the iconic “Open” sign. They feature a black ferrule, black imprint, and Blackwing’s signature soft graphite. The number six is a reference to the six Noble Gases which give neon lights their distinct colors. Replacement erasers are available in a variety of colors. Each sturdy and beautifully designed box includes one dozen pencils.

This release supports the Small Business Relief Fund as they work to help small businesses keep their lights on.
