Hey Friend, HEY!

National Send a Card to a Friend Day

Say you’re peanut butter and you’d like to let jelly know how much you care. You’re inseparable chums, so you want to send jelly a card to say so – and you don’t want to wait until National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day in April to do it.
I can’t blame you!

You could wait until April for the official day of the dynamic sandwich duo, or you could wait forrrrrrever and choose any number of unofficial holidays. World Compliment Day on March 1, Blah Blah Blah Day in mid-April, even Friendship Day in August…

And what do you do if you’re not a sandwich condiment? How could you EVER show your friend you care? Luckily for you, there’s soon to be the perfect opportunity. February 7th is National Send a Card to a Friend Day.

It’s easy. It’s thoughtful. And you don’t have to hire a professional to shout your admiration on July’s International Town Crier’s Day or learn to make an encapsulated boat for October’s Ship in a Bottle Day. Orrrr say it at absolute full volume on CAPS LOCK DAY.

You can tell your friend you care with the simple gesture of sending them a card.

"Hi", Pink Greeting Card

"I'm really missing you." Mayday Press greeting card

"Hellooo" Mayday Press greeting card

National Send a Card to a Friend Day is the reminder we need to take time from all the electronic hustle and bustle to slow down, say hello and let someone know you think they’re pretty great. And if you tell someone they’re great through snail mail? It probably really means you think they’re the GREATEST.

My advice? Give it a try! Send a card to a friend, and say they’re great with Mayday. They’ll be so happy you did!
